2. Information we may collect
When secure registration becomes available, we may collect your name, age, contact details, location, occupation, faith journey, relationship preferences, personal description and optional profile content. Event registration may collect contact and ticket information. We may also collect necessary technical and security data when you visit the website.
3. Why we use information
We use submitted information to assess applications, respond to enquiries, consider compatible introductions with mutual consent, administer membership and events, maintain safety, and comply with applicable obligations. Religious beliefs and relationship preferences may be sensitive; they should be supplied voluntarily and used only for the purposes clearly explained at collection.
4. Visibility and sharing
Matchmaking application data is intended to remain private to authorised ministry administrators. Public or member-visible profiles are optional and require a separate choice about what to share. We will not publish phone numbers or personally identifying application details without your permission. Essential service providers may process information on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. Data may be disclosed when lawfully required.
5. Payments
When online payments become available, they may be processed by Paystack. Payment-card information is entered into the payment provider's secure checkout, not stored by Hidden Soulmates. Payment status and transaction references may be retained for records and customer support.
6. Security and retention
We aim to limit access, safeguard stored data, and keep personal information only for as long as needed for the stated purposes or applicable record-keeping obligations. The exact retention schedule must be confirmed before the secure application system launches.
7. Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction, withdrawal of optional profile visibility, or deletion of information where applicable by emailing us. Some records may need to be retained for lawful purposes. You may withdraw consent for optional uses; this can affect the matchmaking service.
8. Age requirement
Matchmaking applications and member profiles are for adults aged 18 and above only.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when site features or our practices change. Updates will be posted here with a revised date.
Email form submissions
Contact enquiries, event registration interests and matchmaking applications submitted through this website are delivered to Hidden Soulmates via FormSubmit, an external form processing service. Your submission may contain personal information, including your religious beliefs when provided in the matchmaking form. Only submit information you consent to sharing for ministry review. Do not include passwords, payment card details or identity documents. Email delivery is not the same as secure member account storage. If you prefer not to use the online form, contact us directly by phone or email.
